We also agreed that there will be a senate meeting in respect of the Late Senate President, Comr. Donald Onukogu and four others who lost their lives in active service on their way to the University of Uyo. In effect to that, there will also be a memorial lecture in their honour.
The Zone B executives comprising the eleven states in South-East and South-South, also passed a vote of confidence on our president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for the bold step and modalities taken for not isolating our noble organization from the national conference but have given us the opportunity to contribute our own quota in charting a way forward for our country. we therefore plead with all humility and sincerity to all candidates shortlisted in the zone to bear in mind that the interest of the Nigerian Student is of uttermost importance and must be protected at the national confab.
we have also resolved that all the adhoc committee have been duely dissolved by the convention chairman except where there is unanimous agreement among the executives to allow the already existing status quo.
